Situated in the heart of Dallas’ Wilson Block Historic District, known as the “Meadows Campus,” our new flagship location will be part of a vibrant nonprofit ecosystem. This unique neighborhood is home to 32 diverse organizations spanning arts and culture, education, health, and human services – creating an enriched environment where our youth and their families can access vital community resources.
Research shows that the more community connections youth build, the longer they stay engaged in programs that help them succeed. [7] By joining this rich network of organizations, we’re not just expanding our resources – we’re creating deeper, more lasting impact. Our interns will have access to an integrated web of support services, enrichment activities, and pathways for growth through partners like New Friends New Life, Annie’s Place, Dallas CASA, and more. This ecosystem of support extends beyond our interns to their families, creating opportunities for generational change.
This collaborative environment, with more than 500 mission-driven professionals and board members, will enhance our wraparound model. Through these partnerships, we’ll create stronger referral networks, share best practices, and develop innovative solutions that benefit our youth, their families, and the broader Dallas community.
The Café Momentum Flagship is poised to become a national destination for learning and innovation in youth development and justice reform. By investing in this project, we are not only transforming the lives of young people in Dallas but also paving the way for a paradigm shift in how we approach youth empowerment and justice reform nationwide.
